How long does it take to do a baby casting?
You should allow a couple of hours from the time you set up to when you are all cleaned up. The alginate will set quickly - within about 30 seconds to a minute so you don't have to hold your child for too long.
What is the alginate made of?
It is the same product dentists use to take impressions in the mouth. It is derived from seaweed but has no smell!
Do babies have reactions to the kits?
It would be very unusual to have a skin reaction to our product. If you aren't sure, do a small test on your inner wrist to check.
Is it very difficult to do?
No, but planning is key.
If you aren't confident, you should start with one of our smaller kits and then try the larger one when you are ready.
